INFRASTRUCTURE MAPPING, QUICK FILTERS, ROUTING, AND MORE!
The incidents page has been significantly enhanced, providing many of the same features available on the Locates page. This includes:
Fully integrated map view. See where incidents are located on the map, including fleet tracking and location history, infrastructure layers, map notes, address search ruler distances, and configurable pin labels.
Route directions to one or multiple incidents, finding the most efficient visit order with consideration for real-time traffic.
Filter incidents by map area.
Quick filters. Easily accessible filters for incident ID, street, city, assigned user, status, and more.
Grid status bar.
These enhancements provide significant new value when investigating and analyzing incidents.

SMARTPHONE IMPROVEMENTS
Page layouts have been significantly improved for display on any device screen, no matter how small. Horizontal scrolling has been greatly reduced, if not entirely eliminated, when completing locates, incidents, forms, and much more. These improvements provide and easier and more intuitive navigation experience.
Please note that fields and functionality have remained the same - only the layout of those fields has been improved when operating DigTix from devices on smaller screens such as smartphones.

FIELD BASIC UI
Users may now activate a simplified new experience within DigTix. This experience is designed to provide field users simple access to what they need most without the distraction of rarely used features.
Figure 4: Full UI vs Basic UI
Users may toggle between these two interfaces by clicking on their account menu in the top right corner of the page. Clicking on “Basic Mobile UI” will activate the simplified experiencing, while clicking on “Full Mobile UI” will activate the full power of DigTix.

NOTE: Field service techs may be defaulted into the Basic UI upon request. If you’d like to activate this default setting for field service tech users, please open a DigTix Support request.
CAMERA FLASH AND ZOOM
Damage prevention does not sleep, which means nighttime work is common. DigTix’s integrated camera app now provides the ability to toggle the device camera’s flash on and off to get a clear picture in any lighting environment. Digital zoom may also be used to get a closer look from far away.

NOTE: Due to limitations within Apple’s iPhone and iPad devices, on-the-fly compression is currently not available when using the flash or zoom functionality. We hope to provide on-the-fly compression when using the new flash / zoom capabilities once Apple makes the appropriate adjustments on their end.
