ANNOUNCEMENTS

Announcements may be distributed to alert DigTix users of unsafe conditions, provider reminders, and support team communication. New announcements will appear when DigTix is loaded and must be acknowledged by each user.

Announcements are managed via the new "Announcements" section within the DigTix Administration page. They may be issued immediately or scheduled into the future. After an announcement is issued, DigTix keeps track of who has seen and acknowledged the announcement.

CONTRACT LOCATOR RISK SCORES

Similar to excavators and in-house locators, DigTix now maintains a risk score for third party contract locators.

A locate request's risk score may be impacted by the contract locator that completes the locate request. Damage prevention dispatchers and managers can use this information to assign high risk excavation jobs to their best performing locators in order to reduce risk and avoid damages. Follow ups such as evaluations, patrols, or site visits may also be warranted for high risk jobs.

Contract locators and their risk scores may be managed via the "Contract Locator Registry" section of the DigTix Administration page.

Risk scores may be overridden on a case by case basis in the "Risk Score Override" field if extraordinary circumstances are identified.

NOTE: DigTix's predictive risk score model is constantly improving. Stay tuned for more exciting improvements in upcoming releases!

We've included separate documentation on risk scores in our Support and Knowledge Base Portal. You can view this document directly by clicking here.

MAP NOTE EMAIL ALERTS

Users may (optionally) notify team members of map notes as they are created or updated. Such notes may be useful when hazardous situations are discovered in the field or corrections are needed, fostering communication and improving safety for field users.

If out-of–date GIS data or prints are discovered, the appropriate internal team can be alerted of corrections which need to be made, and where.

Map notes may be added by "long clicking" the map for 3 seconds. Distribution lists are defined via the "Email Distribution Lists" section of the Administration page.

  2. The "Color By" option (Priority, Proximity, Response Due, etc).
  3. The "Label By" option (Ticket ID, Assigned User, Excavator Company, etc).
