RISK SCORE MODIFIERS


Since 2019, DigTix has used an advanced algorithm to provide risk scores for every excavator, user, contract locator, and locate request. The release of v34 includes the ability to modify this risk scoring algorithm based on the specific needs of your organization.


A new section "Risk Score Modifiers" is included in the DigTix Administration page. Within this section, adjustments to the DigTix risk scoring algorithm may be configured. This provides a powerful new way to prioritize work based on trends observed in the field or special initiatives adopted by your organization. Some examples of risk score modifiers are included in Figure 1 below.

Any part of the locate request may be inspected in order to increase or decrease the risk score by a specified amount. The amount may be absolute (e.g. "Increase by X points") or relative to the original DigTix risk score (e.g. "Decrease by 10%").


IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING DIGSIGHTS


DigSights is a next-gen artificial intelligence / machine learning (AI / ML) system which quantifies the likelihood of an incident occurring during any excavation. DigSights integrates directly into the DigTix risk system to provide the highest performing incident prediction and risk model in the industry.


DigSights has allowed our closed beta participants to:


  • Predict 54.3% of incidents within the top 14.5% of locates with highest incident prediction score.
  • Realize their lowest incident rate ever.


By default, the DigTix risk system does not include the DigSights AI / ML system when calculating risk. The DigSights closed beta is now open to all DigTix customers - absolutely FREEIf you are interested in joining the DigSights Open Beta, please reach out and let us know!

BI Suite Dashboard Library


A standard dashboard library has been added to the DigTix BI Suite. These highly interactive dashboards can be provided to all DigTix BI Suite customers absolutely FREE. Once the dashboards are provided, they may be enhanced and updated by your team to provide business intelligence visualizations and insights specific to your organization and may be distributed throughout your organization automatically or on-demand.


The following dashboards may be included within the BI Suite:


  1. Production Dashboard: Provides insight into the volumes of incoming and completed work and forecasts into the future for the purposes of resource planning.
  2. Risk Management Dashboard: Identifies high risk and high impact jobs. Provides insights into who is performing these jobs, where they are taking place, and how they are being handled.
  3. Supervisor Dashboard: Outlines job completions and performance of on-time percentage and incident rates.
  4. Finance Dashboard: Visualizes revenue and cost trends with category breakdown, along with forecasts into the future for the purposes of financial planning. 
  5. Incident Dashboard: Reports on the occurrence and location of incidents, root cause, investigation progress, and highlights egregious events.
  6. Excavator Dashboard: Identifies high volume and problem excavators.
  7. Coursettra Dashboard: Provides an overview of training and OQ certification status, upcoming re-qualification requirements, and more.

MISCELLANEOUS


This DigTix release contains a considerable amount of "under the hood" improvements which provide the foundation for many exciting future features and improvements.


  • Several improvements to the Unparsed management page.
  • General performance improvements.
  • Many other minor improvements and bug fixes.
